Cover letter

Recently
graduates in interlingual communication I possess the knowledge of working in various areas of
business, in public and state services, as well as organizations and cultural
institutions that have extensive international contacts and an international
clientele. During my studies I worked for various translation
companies which allowed me to gain language skills concerning different areas
of life. In my 3d year of university I spend a semester abroad in Paris at the
National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations as an exchange
Erasmus student. After finishing university, I decided to move to Paris to further
improve my French and learn more about the French culture and its people. In
October 2011 I became community manager for an Association of Startups Alambik.
Unfortunately, the association had to close its incubator in Paris and I have
been looking for an internship or a job that would allow me to continue upgrading
my skills in interlingual communication ever since.

I
am confident I would be an asset in any company for I am very adaptable, I
possess quick learning skills, I have well developed people skills, and last
but not least I am a very positive and energetic person who can easily motivate
people at work.

I
have worked extensively with the public in my various jobs. As a hostess and
banquet waitress at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana, I often came into
contact with business and community leaders. The restaurant within the Union
prides itself on excellent customer service and we were encouraged to do
whatever was necessary to ensure that patrons had a superb dining experience.
As a community manager at the Association of Startups, I was in charge of PR,
communications, writing and the maintenance of the office (flyers, good
atmosphere, good relations and mutual help among Startups).

I would be
honored to work for a company or association where I could improve my language
and administrational skills, gain new knowledge and develop as a person.
